She also urged people to preserve and safeguard the TNBTS area as a valuable tourism and conservation asset.
“Alhamdulillah. Apart from Kawah Ijen, which was declared a Unesco Global Park in June 2023, East Java also has Bromo, whose beauty is acknowledged worldwide. Grateful beyond measure for the immense blessings of Allah SWT on this land of Majapahit,” Khofifah stated in her remarks.
Khofifah also advised people to adhere to health protocols when visiting TNBTS, considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. She hoped TNBTS would become a safe, comfortable, and memorable tourist destination for travelers.
“Don’t leave before visiting Bromo. But don’t forget to always maintain your health, wear masks, keep a distance, and wash your hands. Let’s enjoy the beauty of Bromo wisely and responsibly,” Khofifah emphasized.
