These three Indonesian figures have previously been listed by RISSC. In 2021, Jokowi was ranked 12th, followed by 13th in the next year, and the same position in 2023.

On the other hand, Gus Yahya consistently made the list of influential figures worldwide. In 2021 and 2022, he was at 450, and in 2023, he rose to the 19th position.

Meanwhile, Habib Luthfi maintained a relatively consistent ranking in the 30s. In 2020, he was 30th, and in 2021 and 2022, he held the 32nd position.

The list of 50 influential Muslim figures in the world for 2024 is led by King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, followed by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of Iran and Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of Qatar.

Other notable Muslim figures in the list include Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah, and Egyptian football player Mohamed Salah.
