Bilateral Meeting

Prabowo outlined four main points of Indonesia’s aid to Gaza:

- Sending medical teams and establishing field hospitals.
- Accepting up to 1,000 patients from Gaza for medical treatment in Indonesia.
- Providing post-trauma care and education for children in Gaza.
Additionally, Prabowo emphasized that resolving the conflict in Gaza must be achieved through ceasefire and negotiations, and he supported the two-state solution as the path to a just and sustainable peace.
Next Official Visit
After the meeting with King Abdullah II, Defense Minister Prabowo continued his official visit to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. There, he was scheduled to meet with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, HRH Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. This meeting aims to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss cooperation in defense and humanitarian fields.
International Reaction
The meeting was also attended by representatives from other countries, including Australia, which sent Minister for Early Childhood Education Dini Anne Aly. Support for the summit also came from Pope Francis, who praised the initiative of King Abdullah II, the President of Egypt, and the UN Secretary-General.
