With these accomplishments, Prajogo Pangestu has secured the top position among the wealthiest individuals in Indonesia, surpassing Low Tuck Kwong, the owner of Bayan Resources, ranked 31st with a wealth of US$39.7 billion or Rp611.4 trillion.

Below them are the Hartono brothers, owners of Djarum and Bank Central Asia, with respective wealth of US$25 billion or Rp385 trillion (rank 86) and US$23.8 billion or Rp366.5 trillion (rank 93).

He also holds a position among the wealthiest in Asia, trailing only a few names such as Mukesh Ambani from India, Jack Ma from China, and Lee Kun-hee from South Korea.

Globally, he ranks below Elon Musk from the United States, Jeff Bezos from the United States, and Bernard Arnault from France, each with a wealth exceeding US$100 billion.

Prajogo Pangestu is recognized for his humility and philanthropy, frequently donating to various social, educational, and environmental activities. In 2019, he received the Bintang Jasa Utama from President Joko Widodo for his contributions to national development.

He is actively involved in organizations such as the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Indonesian Employers Association, and the Buddha Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation.
